Who is Dr. Eve Krief? To put it briefly, because if I don’t keep it brief I could type all night long answering this question, Dr. Eve Krief is a Huntington pediatrician who has been a vocal supporter of children's rights to vaccinations for some time. This past December at the state NOW (National Organization for Women) conference, Dr. Krief, founder of Long Island Inclusive Communities Against Hate, which is aimed at building respect and understanding in communities of diversity, was honored for her efforts and received a Susan B. Anthony award. Dr. Krief is also on the executive committee of the Long Island-Brooklyn/Queens chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics where she works as a Legislative Advocacy chair. In recent years she has been an outspoken activist fighting for the Affordable Care Act (ACA), women’s reproductive rights, abortion rights, and keeping families together instead of torn apart from each other in immigration detention facilities. Dr. Krief has also received the American Academy of Pediatrics Outstanding Achievement Award in 2019, as well as a New York State Senate Commendation Award. This is all just to name a few....
This past week in Albany, NY, the state's capital, Dr. Krief, along with other members of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), met with lawmakers in the Legislative Building for an Assembly Health Committee Meeting. While Dr. Krief and her AAP colleagues tried to meet with legislators, an unhinged and very vocal anti-vaccine mob was there waiting in the hallway to welcome their arrival. These obnoxious individuals followed Dr. Krief and the others around the Legislative building from one floor to another while yelling at both the law makers and the physicians. This group of irrational individuals insulted the physicians, accused them of being bought, of being demons, of breaking their Hippocratic oath, of being cowards who do the bidding of “Lucifer and Satan,” of being vaccine injury denialists, of knowingly and purposely harming and killing children, of lying to the entire public, of “fist bumping” one another for such actions while at an earlier public meeting, of being uneducated, of being lobbyists pushing harmful legislation to “line their pockets,” and for “kicking [their] kids out of school.” These so-called “activists” against vaccines mocked Dr. Krief and others for requiring “armed guards” to escort them around Albany, as though their screaming and irrationality should not be seen as potentially threatening. These “guards,” mind you, were two NY State Troopers who were assigned to work in the Legislative building. In other words, these officers were doing what they were paid to do, keep people safe in our state’s capital. They weren’t armed guards hired to prevent the crowd from speaking their grievances or to counter the anti-vaccine protest, a protest that continuously shouted in unison “WE’RE NOT GOING AWAY.” In keeping true to that threat, members of the New York Alliance for Vaccine Rights, the group responsible for Tuesday's anti-vaccine circle-jerk, is still attacking and harassing Dr. Eve Krief on their Facebook page. Earlier this evening they posted the following post shown below, and continued their hateful cackling like a pack of hyenas in the post's comments, also shown below.
This mob-like mentality the anti-vaxxers exhibited for most of Tuesday did not resemble actions of advocates or activists. Their behavior resembled that of thugs, bullies, and seditionists. Anti-vaccine extremists are merely one violent action away from meeting all the check marks to be labeled as terrorists. They break the law, use force against persons or property to intimidate or coerce government officials and those of us in the civilian population in their efforts to push their political and social objectives. The only thing missing is a targeted violent act. A year ago if I had read or heard someone compare vaccine denialists to terrorists, I would have rolled my eyes and thought this connection was nothing short of immensely exaggerated . However, witnessing this behavior of theirs in person, seeing their verbal attacks and accusations escalate and become more aggressive and more manical, seeing how there is no reasoning with their polluted brainwashed minds, and watching how animated they become when they are confronted with whom they (incorrectly) perceive as the enemy, they are no longer a group of moms protesting through their frustrations. They become unpredictable as they seem to struggle more and more to control themselves when faced with anyone who dares to question their tribal mentality.
They have become consumed by this baseless hate and deal with this by choosing a target and stalking people like Dr. Eve Krief, a medical professional that never cared for their children, that did not create or manufacture a vaccine, and did not in any way harm their children.
Remember back when it was the 9/11 "truthers" that looked like crazy ones?
Below you will find some videos from YouTube. These are all from the March 3, 2020 protest in Albany, NY, which I attended, and back up my claims in this blog post. Some of the videos shown below are my own video and audio recordings, some are videos posted by other YouTube channels, and others are videos found on Facebook posted by anti-vaxxers. I will label each one accordingly.
This first video is my own audio recording where the woman shown in the picture expresses desire to kiss Gov. Cuomo and give him the corona virus. The image is mine as well.
This next video is mine that I recorded inside the Capital Building outside of the hall of Governors offices. This protest seems less like a protest but more of an angry party for those attending, right down to the lying and hiding of their toys at the end to the NY State Troopers.
My own video showing the end of a brief argument between anti-vaxxers and a woman in a black shirt walking down the street. I caught up to the woman asking her if she'd like to talk to me about what the argument was about but she did not want to talk to me.
My own audio recording discussing the argument with anti-vaxxers between anti-vaxxers and the woman in the black shirt. Besides myself, I do not know who the women speaking in the video are, but the man heard is Matthew McIntyre, who is currently running for Assembly District 125.
Video made by The Real Truther showing Ali Hamideh harassing AAP physicians on March 3, 2020 in Albany, NY.
Another video thanks to The Real Truther showing harassment of AAP physicians and legislators on March 3, 2020 in Albany, NY.
My own video and audio of Ali Hamideh talking outside in Albany, NY on March 3, 2020. In this video he admits to suing the school district, not the state of NY, over medical exemptions, not over religious exemptions, and at one point even says it was unfortunate that they had to sue the school and not the state. The state of NY did not deny his son a medical exemption, but left the decision up to the school district, who in turn did deny his son a medical exemption. Ali sued the district and won. None of what Ali and his family have been through involve the state of NY or religious exemptions.
